The funny thing about vacationing in France is that a lot of people believe that the only attractions this part of the world has to offer involves art. While going to the Louvre and strolling around Paris’ left bank can definitely make for amazing memories, please understand that France has a lot more to offer.
No, I’m not just talking about the great monastery near Paris or Versailles Castle. France actually has a lot of natural attractions. I am, of course, talking about its beaches.
Now, you probably have heard of the South of France, and people do make a big deal of how much warmer this part of the country can be. But besides the temperature difference with the North of France, the South of France also offers really breathtaking beach vistas.
I raise this issue because it’s too easy to plan some sort of French beachside adventure and come up unprepared. Make no mistake about it, if you want to walk away with a truly memorable experience, you have to come prepared. This should not be rocket science. This should not be some sort of mystery.
But unfortunately, a lot of vacationers in France find this out in the worst way possible. They come up with a canopy or some sort of shelter that, for some reason or another, isn’t up to the job. Instead of everybody having a good time and posting about it on Facebook and otherwise living it up, it becomes some sort of ordeal.
Let me tell you, while the Mediterranean is quite an awesome place, it can also get quite windy. It is, after all, a very imposing ocean. So do yourself a big favor, if you are planning on a South of France beachside adventure, bring a gazebo canopy with you.
Pay attention to its size, pay attention to its ease of construction as well as the materials it’s made of. By being a little bit more proactive, you can ensure that the product that you bring along will take care of everybody’s needs. This is how you play the game properly because otherwise, the trip is actually going to be a lot more rougher than anybody bargained for.
And believe me, when you go to France, you’re there to have a good time. You’re there to enjoy the cheese, the wine, the great conversation. You’re there to savor all the amazing French culture as well as the beautiful Southern France beach vistas. You’re not there to screw around, and that’s precisely what will happen to you if your gazebo canopy, for some reason or another, falls apart.
